Off the Scale #42 - Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy by Pyotr Ilyvich Tchaikovsky

Hi everyone!

Seeing as it's Strictly season again, I thought I'd celebrate dance in my own way; ballet. For this one, my natural selection comes from Tchaikovsky's Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

It won't be long now before Christmas, so let's get a really early start in...

Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy

This one was an easy choice and, even though I'm writing it a couple of weeks ahead, I thought I would do my bit to celebrate the style of dance that is ballet through classical music.

This is from the Bolshoi Ballet and it is probably one of the first ever classical pieces that I first heard, though I can still remember what the actual one was so stay tuned for a celebration of that one.

Peace!
