NaNoWriMo 2013 - Not Quite The Start I Had In Mind...

Hey, bro's!

Isn't it funny that things don't always work out the way you've been planning for them to?

Take this year's NaNoWriMo... I've not done it for a couple of years now so I'm clearly out of practice and used to just flowing and going wherever the fancy takes...


Yet here I stand, on the cusp of Day 8 and am no further at all from my 3k odd target!

Why? Well life that's why... not only have I not had the time to dedicate this year's story, an effort entitled "Mephestes' Gate", but I've not had the inclination at all!

As for the Manchester NaNoWriMo 'Write-In' events... PAH! 'Nuff said... sorry, but I've tried it and a 'Write In' just ain't for me, I mean, when I turn up I expect more than a bunch of folks sitting at tables writing on computers just... well... writing... where's the party at? where it at? WHERE YOU AT???!!!

I worked as an IT Analyst for four years, bro's, I know what I'm talking about!

Don't worry though, this is not me as a writer tending my resignation, I'm way more hardcore than that!

I'm gonna crack down and crack on later on today after I've been to that, well, you Brits will know what I mean when I say 'Temple of Doom' as it's signing on day today at the job centre... HO-LEE BALLS!!! ;)

Anyhoo, that's all f'r now folks!

Hopefully in 'Week Two' I'll have better things to report, huh? ;)
