NaNoWriMo 2013 - Two Weeks In and Halfway There!

Well this has certainly been an entertaining ride so far! :D

I've clocked in so far at a little over 26,000 words out of the 50,000 target by month end, meaning I'm ahead of the daily quota required to pass such a test as NaNoWriMo for another year...

For that's what I see it as; a test!

If I'm honest, I know I've beaten it before, three times if I'm not mistaken, but each time I treat it as a brand new test to make sure that each idea grows separately and independently of previous years' entries.

To this end though, there is an exception, because I started a trilogy a few years back (four to be precise!) and I've never looked back since, for "Maiden Voyage" was easily my best work yet...

It was also the subject of a post I made in the infancy of this blog when I was questioning the morality of writing such, at times, blue work, which as a self-professed Christian I knew some would judge me heinously for if they knew about... then I realised, it's not about them, it's about ME, it always has been... I knew that every single one of those scenes was key and complimentary to the actions of my heroine and the story that she was living out in the process!

I still reminisce to this day on the quality of that work and know that at some point, it'll have to make it to print... it just HAS to... quoting Steve Austin here "and THAT'S the bottom line; cos Stone Cold said so"!

Enough of that, for onwards I charge ever closer to the 50k target, bro's...

Are you with me?! ;)

Peace out!
