The Write Dimension I - Making Changes Where Change Is Due

This is going to be a quick one because so much has changed for me since I last wrote on this blog.

First off, I've been that busy with my new job, working as a delivery driver for Domino's that I haven't had time to give much thought other than to game or to watch movies when not on the clock...

Secondly, I've got an interview tomorrow at a place which I shall reveal should all go well, which it will! :-P

Why an interview when I've already got a job and an okay one at that? Let me be blunt and say that I'm working stupid hours with Domino's finishing late, late, LATE into the evenings and I've HAD IT!!!

As many of you will know, the job centre don't give a crap as you're just another stat to them, another figure to massage down to the magical sub-two million figure they like to create every now and then.

So having tried to make a change upon agreement with management, I have discovered they're only flexible so far, I figured why not make a change myself, prayed about it and reactivated my CVs on all the job sites I'm on and lo and behold within two hours of that happening, I get a call which within thirty minutes, THIRTY MINUTES had transpired into an interview.

I know God's working in all of this, I also know that I've had it up to here with the unreliability of a zero-hours contract that means I'm likely not to get the hours I need in this week meaning the strain goes into next week's work.

More to follow in part two...

Peace out!
