The World of the Stingy

Have you ever noticed that the less you have, the more you want, or the more you have the more you still want?

That's the question I'm going to be focusing on today as we head into a new season of prosperity and super-charged belief in what we are doing in order that we become amongst the best in the world at what we do!

A bold statement that may appear to be, but I want you to consider the ramifications of such a statement as that because it will straight off help you to assess whether the words of your world really are framed large or small, by generosity or stinginess (ED - let's see how many Scrooge references appear here!).

Hello and welcome to another musing on life, the universe and, well, everything!

When I use the word "generous" what springs to mind?

Do you think of a certain relative that's no longer with you who was always giving you treats? Or maybe you just think of "helping people", which is generosity in its most basic form.

Either way, there are many connotations that come into effect the moment that you start considering about what it means to be generous...

This feels a little alien to me because I'm writing this from a laptop I'm fixing... at my home address! :D

You may know by now that for some months I have been without computer because of a certain wine spillage I told you about, so it's still odd getting used to this (ED - what he's not telling you is that he's currently in the process of fixing it for a relative!) having been only able to access it through computers at the library or Avanta when I go there for my jobsearch.

But that's by the by, because I'm always looking to keep this updated now that 2015 is well and truly in flow...

Every Step I Take

I don't know about you but I've certainly been given plenty to think about in relation to the completion of my "Where Praise Is..." series of postings.

I've been giving some serious thought to what the next series should be about, but have so far come up empty (ED - don't worry, keeping TLP quiet won't last long!).

It's been sooo long since I've been able to wrap up this series of postings, but such is the way of life at the moment. As you already know I've got a dead computer at the moment so the only internet access I've got is through my PS3's browser and that is utter... well, I'll leave you to guess (ED - let's just say it's woefully inadequate for what I need it to do).

But anyways, onto the posting...

Finally... An Update!

Well... it's certainly been an eventful and manic few weeks, bro's!

This is the first post of 2015 so happy new year, (ED - belatedly!) and things haven't quite worked out as I'd have originally planned. I've not even finished my "Where Praise Is..." series of musings and a lot of time has passed since I originally started that.

I'll get on that real, real soon, I promise!

It's funny how the things you're supposed to do are very often the things that get put back when you least expect or plan it. But that's life...

First of all let me offer you my sincerest apologies for not writing on this blog much more frequently than I have in the last couple of months. Since my computer died, I've been struggling to commit to regular postings which is a right pain in the rear end!

I was hoping that I could make a start on some serious postings consistently, like I've done with my "Where Praise Is..." series... but alas no! :(
