I'm truly and honestly sorry for that and want you to know that it's not because I didn't want to, because I did, it's just that things have been chaotic at the minute.
Let me break it down for you...
Maybe you remember in another posting I mentioned about getting canned by Dominos? To that I say NEVER, ever work for them!
Don't do it, bro's, you WILL regret it!
It's slave labour and I consider highly-unethical to treat the drivers like cattle and farm them out here, there and everywhere with no structured break routines.
Call me old-fashioned or just plain structured, but it's bang out of order for them to expect you to work seven, eight and nine hours with no break!!!
GET TO F...!
Aside from this my advisor, Sofiya (for all of three days!), at Avanta put me on a useless course called, get this, "Pre-Employability Training" and it's designed for those that have been out of work for a long time.
Have you noticed a problem?
I've only just finished soddin' working for Domino's three weeks ago and she puts me on this...
It's for people who've been out of work a long time, you blahdy nampty (say that with a Cockney accent!)! :D :D :D
It gets better as the tutor, let's call her K, is poor, poor quality!
She thinks that 'cause she's taught kids (and is down with the kids) from the 'hood, she can handle anyone, but I wish you could have been there to see how the silly woman deal with us... SHE COULDN'T!!!
A tutor is supposed to be engaging with the people he/she teaches and bless her heart, she tries, oh how she tries but course delivery is all over the show.
I know exactly what a tennis ball feels like, now, exactly what a tennis ball feels like... back and forth, back and forth, back and forth through our files!
Now I will say at this point that she's not to blame for this, partly, because whoever sent these folders out had failed to ensure all paperwork was in all files.
But her delivery is shocking.
You're supposed to work your way from front to back, or side to side (depending on your slant!), knowing that by the time that last page falls you have done everything asked of you in that book.
I hope to god I don't have to rate the course/tutor because right now it stands at something like this: -
COURSE CONTENT: 2 (I shouldn't even BE here for crying out loud!)
TUTOR DELIVERY: 3 (get a grip, woman, you cannot speak to us like we're kids and you do not speak to me like that!)
I doubt these next two weeks will get any better and I must say it's nice to play the semi-interested role for once instead of always being the swot! ;)
