It's gotten pretty intense now I've been lighting the blue touchpaper for what I've garnered from Brotherhood, hasn't it?
Let's crack on...
Faith Revolves Around Jesus
Mark 9:2 ESV And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. And he was transfigured before them
What kind of faith levels must Peter, James and John had to bear witness to the transfiguration of Jesus right before their very eyes? It must have been pretty great, mustn't it?
Does this give you an idea of the sort of marvels you can bear witness to if you'll only believe?!
The final glass that Glyn mentioned, was having "just enough faith" to get by and before the naysayers come and say that it's the wrong way to live, think on this for a moment. If you have just enough faith to get through what you need to get through today, then just enough for tomorrow to get through that, then just enough to... ad infinitum. Don't you see what a crescendo you're building up to?
You should be getting more and more faith all the time, throughout your life, if you are at a point where you struggle to understand why you get up in a morning to do what you do, have a think why. The answer may not be as complicated as you think. How can you indulge in the fountain of faith if you only ever skim the surface of life barely holding onto the faith you have?
Start putting that to practice, exercising it like I've already mentioned and you'll begin to see the results change the circumstances around you!
Don't wait for more faith to come your way!
Me? I've already told you that, courtesy of my 'V for Victory' badge, I'm waiting until the right one comes along: -
Do I need to say it any better?
I've got a feeling she's at !Audacious already but with well over 700 people there on a Sunday in total, I'm gonna have trouble picking her out, right? :P
So, starting with what you've got, exercise your faith today because God is a covenant-keeping God who will see you through until the very end of your days and beyond!
"Just enough faith" is enough for one day, for today, so just take it one day at a time!
Okay, next up I'm taking a look at the final session after the infamous "Wild One" session where I was healed of a knee issue that's been plaguing me for years! GO GOD!!! ;)
Peace out!
