Just picked up the previous instalment in the Battlefield series of videogames on Saturday and though I've been anxious to play it, I have not had a chance until just now...
Early impressions are that I am stunned at the sheer detail of this Levolution technology that the guys at DICE have created using the Frostbite 3 engine. It's been a long time since a cutscene has had me jaw-dropped at the sheer spectacle that makes Michael Bay's films look calm to the eyes & ears, but that's for the review.
Expect a full-on review, in it I'll cover my gear I'm using for my experience in the days to come as I unpack what makes this, in my mind and many others' too; the stand out format in squad-based shooters.
I choose my words carefully at this point because I've been out of the CoD franchise since the first in the Modern Warfare series so I will not judge them, because I cannot comment on what's gone into the later games.
I'll cover my reasons in due course so stay tuned for me to finally, finally do a review on something!
For now, here's the trailer: -
It seems so long ago now since I last did a review, doesn't it?
Peace off!
