Wow!
Liberation is such a great feeling and one we often miss when we get overwhelmed by our circumstances.
It is as though, at times, we carry around the weight of the world on our shoulders and with no apparent hope of release from such stresses and worries that are thrown at us daily.
God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, His merciful love couldn’t have dried up. They’re created new every morning. How great your faithfulness! I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left. Lamentations 3:22-24
Every day, no matter what I face, I know that through His mercies and His provisions, He has made a way where there previously was no way to the naked eye.
People can claim all they like that God doesn't exist and that the universe was created all of its own accord. I don't believe that. The big bang theory, contentious as this is going to sound to some, is merely an idea I attribute to the awesome power of God's voice speaking everything into being. It's an idea I like to ponder on that the mighty explosion scientists claim started life actually originated from out of God's breath, His power brought to life what was non-existent.
He cannot not exist for me, for all I've been through, all I've made it through and yet all the while He's been an ever present, ever real, help for me in times of trial and of need. Until lately, I just don't think I fully understood just how much He is above all things and therefore didn't fully grasp the awesome ways in which He can move for me if I'd only give way.
The boundaries are getting torn down every day for me and though I always, always say I hold no ill will towards atheists, evolutionists or anyone who doesn't believe what I do, it will not stop as I'm sure you're aware, me speaking my mind on this blog of mine.
It's my calling to show that we Christians are not perfect, by any means, we're like many other people; facing daily struggles that test our mettle no matter where we go or what we do.
Many people have the wrong idea about Christianity and what it means for those who believe and it's my duty to set that record straight. All because the name of God has been used to condemn those of a different faith, like in the Crusades, when we, as Christians, are called to love our neighbour as ourself and not hate/hurt/criticise them!
Well... I've not ranted for a while, have I? :D
Okay, that's enough for now, I know if you didn't think my colours were nailed to the mast before... THEY ARE NOW!!! :-P
Peace off!
