The Life of... Stuey

Hi everyone!

My plan was originally to play The Sims 2 for a little bit tonight before jumping into the bath, but as it happens my priorities are shifting these days as I've just put my heart into a post on Facebook with a follow-up on here because, well, I'm in that kind of mood.

Settle in for a long 'un because I want to bring you up-to-date with what's been going on in my life lately...

Priorities ARE a Priority

Firstly, no news on the Mercedes position, but as the saying goes "no news is good news".

Secondly, I find that the weather being as mild as it has really has exploded my walk with God to a whole new level because I now find myself taking my Kindle with me to read scripture on my daily sojourn.

For a lot of people, walking can be a chore and, though it can be for me at times I do that much of it, it gives me a great chance to clear my head and to resolve my priorities for the rest of the day.

I only have a limited amount of time on earth so I want to make sure that I'm living to great effect and trying to spread Kingdom-purpose wherever I go!

Next, my return to social media is going superb, with Instagram now being given fully over for the spreading of God's glory... simply because I can and I want to and I... just... can't... seem... to... keep... it in!

Facebook? Well, that's now under my feet well and truly because anybody who's seen my posts lately will know that all of my posts are of a spiritual nature, not because I'm professing to be super-spiritual in any way, shape, or form, but because I want to be real with everybody.

Let them know that it's okay to not be okay sometimes and still come to church every Sunday.

On this note, I have fallen out with my friend recently because of some of the things he said in a recent Facebook Messenger conversation were, to be blunt & frank (ED - even though he's not, he's TLP!) bang out of line & out of order.

It's not the place to write exactly what was said because, in time, I hope the air will be cleared...

Either way, I really need some space right now from him because I know that what I say today can have a lasting impact so I would rather wait until a later date to say the right thing than to shoot my mouth off today and regret it permanently!

Other than that, I must say that I'm watching so little TV now that stuff is actually getting done!

The only things that I have been watching have been Family Guy, The Big Bang Theory & The Simpsons. I couldn't really care what people think about my interest in these shows because it's not their life, it's mine! :-P

Final Thought

It's odd that I call this a final thought today, when really I've not said a lot, just done a brief rundown of what I'm doing lately.

I guess I'm just trying to keep it real as I continue down this road called life.
