Off the Scale #16 - Fanfare for the Common Man by Aaron Copeland

Hello everyone!

Today, I'm picking quite a different choice from my collection as I only really discovered this one this year. I mean, it's likely that I heard it before then but could never have told you who it was by, just that I liked the whole arrangement.

Let's have a look...

Fanfare for the Common Man

Wikipedia has this to say on this particular piece of music: -
It was inspired in part by a famous speech made earlier in the same year; in that speech, the vice president of the United States of America, Henry A. Wallace, proclaimed the dawning of the "Century of the Common Man".
As quite a newcomer to this particular piece of music, I am pleased to have discovered it. I even went as far as managing to get it on a CD recently as the lead track meaning I can continue to re-visit this in the years to come and get ever more familiar with it.

Peace!
