Then God said, "Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth." And that is what happened... Genesis 1:6-7 (NLT) emphasis added

Hello and welcome to day two of creation!
Who would have thought that I would be able to start a post like that, huh?
So far we, or rather I, have established that God's first act was a revelation of His glory to all of the universe. So what's next?
Now comes the part where the earth is taking shape...
New Horizons For New Beginnings
In God creating a separation between the "waters of the heavens" and of the earth, is that not an indication that He was creating the beginnings of an atmosphere?
Think about it, once the waters of the heavens and earth are separated, there becomes an empty space between.
What's to fill that empty space? Only what would become breathable air, dudes!
The detail that God went into in creating all that we see, it's no wonder that people can raise questions about how life began. To, for a moment, look objectively, there appears to be too much detail for some ethereal being to have placed everything right where it is, correct?
I understand that, I really do, but I don't ascribe to it as if it is not obvious already. It's just too precise to be a fluke, or to have all happened by chance that we are where we are today.
But remember, that's just my opinion and whilst you don't have to accept it, it doesn't make it any less my opinion. Just like your opinion, to me, doesn't make you any less.
I'm glad there's so much variety in the world, I'll tell you one thing, because it means we can debate this 'til the proverbial cows come home over why I believe what I do, and why you believe what you do.
Crucially, and this is where the arguments can be avoided to a certain extent, I accept that some of you don't believe what I do. I don't think any less of you for it because that is your opinion.
Final Thought
So we have gone from God's revelation lighting up the universe, to the earth beginning to take shape as the sky is formed along with horizon.
Whatever will come next?
As ever, watch the skies!
