Hey everyone!
I hope that you have had a wonderful festive time and that you've spent it with friends and family.
Me? I can't complain, even if I have spent most of it alone. I like that, I'm not complaining, unlike others I don't need to be around people all the time. It's not an insult, it's just a fact of life.
Before I sign off 2017 on this blog later on in the post, I want to have a look at forging your new path into the new year...
Resolutions are Made to be Broken
How many of you have, or plan on, making any new year's resolutions? Go on, be honest now.
You see, I would prefer to think of my resolutions as goals, or targets to achieve before year end rather than a resolution because a resolution is only as strong as the will of the person making it.
I, for one, am letting these letters hit the screen from my local library before I take out some books all the while determining that 2018, now that I've left my former church home, will be my best year yet with some of the best memories that are still to be made, ready and waiting for me in the not-too-distant shores of 2018.
For next year, I aim to keep going in the direction that I'm going in because, gradually, things are getting better for me, which reminds me of a song (gee, I haven't done that in a while!): -
As long as I can fix my mind to that aspect, that it really is getting better for me, then it won't matter what I may come up against because I'll always know that it is getting better, man!
Final Thought
So, as I write the last few words of 2017 on here, look forward to some brand new and exciting content as I aim to take myself to the sky as the limit and then beyond, for you are able to fly only as you simply dare to!
Peace out on 2017 and roll on 2018... oh, and don't forget your duct-tape!
