It's been a while since I updated you all with how things are going, hasn't it?
So what better time to start than right now and with the plans for the future ot tWD.
But not before I let you in on a little secret I've been thinking about this week as far as the future of this blog goes...
I know right now that some of you are probably wondering when I'm going to start on another of my religious rants or whatever you want to call them and realised I had to bear in mind what mandate I set out when I originally created this blog back in 2013.
Themes To Highlight
I said it was my take on anything from movies to videogames 'to anything inbetween' and I got to thinking that in order to secure the long-term future of this blog and thus not see it fall into disrepair through lack of updating as has happened in the past, then I should theme each type of posting.
Why?
The answer is very simple when you think about it; if I 'theme' each posting, or give it a specific yet consistent title, then before you've even read a word you can look at the header and know just what you're in for. Also, this gives you the get out clause if you decide against reading it, but then I hardly think you'll do that now, will you, for you've supported me thus far, haven't you? ;)
What this will actually do is keep it closer to the original mandate that I set out to lay down from day one and allow me to construct my comments in a structured environment thus keeping this blog alive indefinitely!
Other Stuff of Note
Well, apart from the fact that I'm using an interesting setup to write this blog, having found out yesterday that the middle panel of my laptop keyboard is fragged meaning the keys 6, 7, y, u, h, j, b and m are no longer working as they did on Sunday. I'm resorting to using both a mouse and external keyboard (big up to B&M at this point for having a great little keyboard in for just £5.99!) whilst my laptop is perched on a chair until I can get a replacement keyboard.
I've done a quick search and found a tutorial on how to replace the keyboard which is well within my remit, so I'll pick one up next chance I can. However, commitments at the moment mean I'll have to make do because I've almost paid off my Xbox 360 (meaning I'll be the proud owner of both PS3 and Xbox 360, shame it couldn't have been before current gen ran out, but hey-ho!) I've had on lay-by for the last five weeks at Cash Converters.
What else, what else? Oh, yes, now that the spring weather has made its way to Littlemoor, I am already excited for this year's road trips and will be writing all about them in due course as and when they occur. The first one should hopefully not be too far around the corner now, but will have to be carefully planned given my car needs taxing at the end of April.
Still, in spite of the breakages I've had to tolerate this past week or so, the latest being my cheap phone I broke when trying to open up to clear the condensation on the inside of the screen... OOPS... I'm keeping stoic about it all knowing that it's still all good, no matter what life throws at me!
Final Thought
Life will have its up's and downs, that's for sure, bro's, it's all about how you react to them or act when they're about to kick off (when you know they're coming of course!) that determines the course of your life.
You can blame your circumstances for why you've got it so bad, you can blame yourself, or you can blame everyone else, just remember that you are where you are today because of every single choice that you have made, good and bad!
Peace out!
Welcome to the quirky dimension that is my journey as a Christian and fully devoted (just not perfect!) follower of Christ. Here you'll find out that, as a writer, there's next to nothing I'm not prepared to write about, including my faith. Prepare for a smash-mouth style to collide with colourful topics as I continue to blog into everything that God has called me to be. Do not adjust your monitors, there is nothing wrong with them, you have simply entered... The WRITE Dimension!
