"Love so high, deeper than the deepest sea. So wide, waves are washing over me. I'll be, in Your arms forever."
This posting comes off the back of a good service this morning at !Audacious Church, my self-professed home away from home and I want to make it clear, get it on the record that I am, categorically, not giving up on my God-given destiny!
This surge comes from being fed up of feeling like I'm left behind as the rescue ship leaves with other survivors in this life, or in other words, you could say that I've grown tired of wondering "why me" so much when life goes wrong around me...
What have I said recently? It ain't about what happens, but about how you react to what happens!
I put those words up so that they will provide some comfort to anyone in need of it because whether we like it or not, whether we feel it or not, we are always held in the arms of Almighty God no matter where we go or what we do.
In actual fact, you could say we are... covered: -
This is why, as difficult as my circumstances feel right now, I know that God, according to Romans 8:28, can make all things work together for my good: -
Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. Romans 8:26-28
So I guess you could say that although I do not know what tomorrow holds, I certainly know Who holds my tomorrow and His plan for me is a good plan!
Peace off!
