I Am Stu-tacus VII: Crush Me? Nay, I Crush on Thee Unashamedly!!!

Hi everyone!

I'm sure you are wondering on the title and I thought I would dare to post another entry talking a little more about what it means to me to have a crush.

I hope I made it sufficiently obvious the last time I directly addressed this that crushing on someone was never something I intended on doing, nor did I plan for it; it just happened!

One Does Not Simply Crush

Some might wonder how one just simply crushes on someone, but there is more to it than I can ever care to share on here because it's just way too personal and I respect, and like, this person way too much!

This week I've been posting a series of videos as I attempt to celebrate love in all its wonderful and wondrous forms: -

If I'm honest and just a little big sneaky, this is the sort of song I will one day sing to my lovely bride, wherever she is!

Do you hear me? I love you now, more every day, hon'! :-)

Man, who would have thought that such a young kid could have such a well-developed and mature voice as the 2010 American Idol; Scotty McCreery!

Next up is another of my all-time favourite artists; Jackson Browne: -

 

Wow!

Every time I hear that song it reminds me that no matter what I've been through, no matter what I've faced, it's been defeated and I AM STILL HERE!!!

Final Thought

 

I think, then, with that being said that it should be said that no matter what heartbreaks you go through, no matter what sorrow you face every day, no matter what disappointments head your way, as long as you've got your life at the end of it then that is more than enough.

It's quite a bold statement because when this lovely person said that she 'didn't like me that way' yeah, sure, it felt like a shotgun blast to the chest, but as my friend quite rightly said: -

"In the light of eternity, who knows how much that will matter"

It's quite a bold and, at first, heartless thing to say, but for the longer a moment that you rest upon it, the more you start to realise that anything "in the light of eternity" is often put into perspective, or out of it.

So the lesson here, today, is that no matter how much I am crushing on this person, which believe you me is a looot... the fact that I am alive today is proof that there is still work for me to do, still a mission statement to be completed!
