That's Right, I Said Inevitable (The Direction of Right Leadership)

Hello everyone!

I'm having a great time at the moment, I hope that you are too because you only get one chance at life so you might as well make the most of it.

I want to follow on from yesterday's post, whilst also keeping up this trend of posting as frequently as I possibly can as apparently, as I've said before, my actions are indeed being noticed by other people.

The key follow on from this is that my actions are also inspiring them too, which is something I wasn't really anticipating...

To Lead is to Follow is to Lead

I once heard of leadership described as a three hundred & sixty degree method of living in that it is not only possible to inspire those beneath you in a managerial sense, but also fellow leaders & also those above you too. It's been described as leading horizontally and vertically along with some other concepts that illustrate the same thing.

If the words that I say, not only on here, but also on social media have the capability to lead people then of course they have an ability to lead them in any particular direction that I choose. So with that in mind, I always have to make sure that, as I said yesterday, that my theology is sound because otherwise I will have to give an account for poor leadership.

Leadership without direction is, in my mind, like trying to follow someone who doesn't know where they are going; it doesn't work as you need three things: -

1. Vision
2. Integrity; and
3. Passion

You need vision to actually see your destination before you see it. You need integrity to stay the course until you arrive at your destination. Finally, you definitely need passion because there will be days when you don't feel like being your best and it is in those days that you need to have an inner fire to pull you through.

Put them altogether and you get a V.I.P.

This is something that might be best applied to our favourite celebrities or sports stars, or at the very least it is something that some of them expect to be treated like; a very important person.

What you have to realise here is that, thanks be to God, you are indeed a very important person to Him. With no one being above one another in the kingdom of God & everyone being valued the same by Him (Romans 2:11), once you have the vision to go somewhere, the integrity to stay the course and the passion to see you through those difficult days, you will then start to see that you are just as valuable as the celebrities, in spite of what the magazine articles say.

You see, mainstream media would have you believe that we are to worship the ground these people walk on, but the reality is that they are ordinary people too. These are people with wants, needs & desires along with dreams just like you & I.

But mainstream media has been fond of lying to us, (ED - of which, TLP is not even going to touch that one because it's not worth it!) because we are all unique, we are all special & we are all a wonderful representation of creation in God's eyes.

There will come a time when you are tempted to give up either or all of your "V.I.P's" so I want you to, in this order: -

1. Remind yourself of why you are doing what you are doing every morning;
2. Remind yourself that there are many that have missed out on their dreams by not staying the course and that you are not going to be one of them; and
3. Find a good motivational video that really fires you up, especially when you are feeling down or just not "on it" as I like to say

Final Thought

In closing, today, I wanted to remind you that the moment you get those three steps in place in your mind & fix your sights on them no matter where you go, then the sky really is the limits as you will find yourself, with God's help doing things that you only dreamed as possible and going places you never dreamed as possible.

The moment you line yourself up with God and get your "V.I.P." status fixed in your gaze as one of God's chosen people, that is the moment your true abilities and giftings will become unlocked.

You already have all you need to do everything that God has called you to and so do I!
