Hello!
I could have gone for a number of different titles to reflect how things currently stand, but in the end I settled for this one.
It is often in the seasons when you feel like I do, that you cannot push one more day let alone season. Today, I want to use this post to encourage you to do as I'm doing and dial it right back, all the way back to pushing one more time, one more moment rather than day to get through your situation.

Today, I want to use this post to encourage you to do as I'm doing and dial it right back, all the way back to pushing one more time, one more moment rather than day to get through your situation.
You know the feeling, you're approaching your wit's end, or your in a situation that you've been in for the longest time and nothing seems to be happening? Well, those are the seasons that something is happening, as I hope to prove today...
Keeping the Main the Main Thing
First things first, I'll start with a little thought you might have heard of before: -
Could it be that, just because nothing seems to be happening, that something is happening but you just can't see it yet?
Think about it, for every job that I am turned down for, that surely means that I'm just one step closer to my next step. Or what about relationships? I've told you I've not had any and I'm actually proud of that because I am officially uncharted territory for whoever I am lucky enough to end up with. Therefore, for every young lady that says "no", it just means that I am one step closer to getting my "yes"! :-P
Read up on Abraham Lincoln's rise to power, I'm not going to link to that here as you can't expect me to do everything for you. As his rise to power showed, he was clearly determined that his desire to succeed was going to outlast any failures that came his way.
I could go on and on with other examples, but you see what I'm getting at don't you?
It's all a matter of perspective: -
The art of representing three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other.
Consider that above definition as a relation to how any one aspect of our lives actually fits into and is supposed to complement (ED - not complete as some people are misguided into thinking it is!) it instead of taking it over so that we become all about that bass (sic!), as it were!
It's at this point I want you all to have a watch of this video: -
I've been listening to this every day now for the past week almost and it is slowly beginning to sink in that with Christ in me, I am enough for all that I face. So for every tear I've shed in my struggle to deal with my feelings for someone, I know that in those moments Christ has been more than enough for me!
The day that He wasn't was the day that my focus had become more about finding the one than about being the one. The point is that, though I know where I am headed, I know not how I'll get there and it really is over to God to see this come to pass, but you know what my response is to this all?: -
Let it be done!
I've been listening to "There is a Cloud" a lot this week from Elevation Worship and that line is speaking so much to me about the sheer volume of blessings that are available to me if I will but learn to see the words "let it be done" as sufficient for me and let it become my "resting" thought pattern.
Final Thought
It's not easy, this "think about what you're thinking about" business, but you know what? I'm definitely seeing the benefits of it as it has helped me see the trigger thoughts for what they really were; just thoughts and nothing else!
Closing off today's post, I want you to come back to this post as often as you can for one week and watch that video I've linked to and let the truth of Ps. Steven Furtick's words sink in as deep as they possibly can within your soul.
The day you acknowledge that Christ in you means you are enough to face your daily battles. You can then begin to see them not as battles, but as Steven says, as brand new blessings. Do this and I believe and declare, that it will help keep your eyes on the prize and help keep the main thing, the truly main thing in your lives today and every day after this!
Just promise me that you will P.U.S.H. one more time, okay?: -
Pray Until Something Happens
Peace!
